The exhibition title STRIKE GENTLY AWAY___ stems from the warning on match boxes: „Strike gently away from body“. In the exhibition, the careful action is transferred to gender and body norms, to nationalities, to rigid history writing, or ideas of origin. It explores the construction of these concepts through others as well as their subjective perception.
